Our Story
2014 - Junior High School
The universe first reminded me of his name through a simple BBM notification.
It was a photo of a small pen tattoo on his forearm that read “LB”, my initials.
Like a message sent to the wrong address, I ignored it.
2016 — High School
Fate seemed had other plans.
We found ourselves in the same classroom.
Studying together before exams slowly became our new routine, along with our circle of close friends.
2019 — University
Once again, life brought us back into the same place, this time at STIS.
But the roles had changed.
He was no longer my classmate, but become my senior.
2020
In the middle of a world filled with uncertainty, he finally spoke about what he felt.
But for me, at that moment, being a friend still felt like the safest answer.
And so, that was where we stayed.
2023
For few years, the West and the East placed miles between us.
We rarely crossed paths anymore.
Yet with a sincerity that never seemed to fade, he came back and show me that he was still waiting.
Early 2025
The message arrived in the simplest way.
"Assalamualaikum, Levina Bernika."
"Waalaikumussalam, Togar Hasbalah”, answered with full awareness.
There were no half-hearted confessions this time, but very clear intentions.
And for the first time, our conversations were no longer about mathematics, but about visions, values, and the possibility of marriage.
Still, we wondered quietly “Are we truly meant to be more than just study partner?”
Late 2025
After all those considerations, for the first time, his family came to my home.
Plans slowly began to take shape. Dates, venues, and all the little details in between.
April 5, 2026
From a simple BBM back in junior high school, we arrived at this sacred moment of ijab kabul. The beginning of a new chapter for both of us.
